Guest Speaker
The guest speaker was Peter Cahalan from the Flinders Ranges & Outback Tourism SA. He felt that the two biggest attractions in Port Pirie were the Nystar tour and the Molfetta culture of our Italian community. They should both be developed.
He felt that the best tourist guides were those who spoke of anecdotal incidents of the area's history.
These were most interesting for visitors.
