GSE is now VTT!!

Applications are being invited for a leader as well as team members for the upcoming Vocational Training Team (VTT).
The theme, for the proposed visit to Kansas USA in April – May 2011, is Renewable Energy.
Team members are required to be employed in an area associated with renewable energy.

Rotary Club of Dau

Ethel Ocampo, visiting Rotarian from our sister club, the Rotary Club of Dau, presented President Geoff with a signed banner from Dau. Port Pire has reciprocated with a similar banner. Ethel also presented Club Officers with 2010.11 theme badges.

Guest Speaker

Our guest speaker was Peter Arnold, a Club member, who addressed the Club on his career to date, both in Local Government and in the bread industry.

Peter gave an interesting outline of the development of the current Port Pirie Regional Council, as a result of a number of amalgamations.
