The Rotary Club of Port Pirie again delivered posies on Mother's Day to the ladies residing in Halliday St Lealholm, Senate Rd Lealholm, St Josephs House, Charles Robertson Cottages, Port Pirie Hospital Wards A & C and to Hammill House.
Approximately 160 posies were prepared by the Port Pirie Floral Arts Group at PP Alan and Gwen's residence and delivered by 15 Rotarians and wives as well as our current incoming Exchange Student, Stine.
As Rotarian Gerry mentioned on her return to base the best part was seeing the smiles on the ladies faces (or something equally profound). The rest of us thought Alan's port and Gwen and John's cakes (didn't know he could cook) were pretty good too.
Well done to Ron and Margaret Johns for once again organising this very rewarding project.
