Port Pirie this year hosted a Christmas Tree Spectacular at the Phoenix Park Trotting Track.

The Rotary Club of Port Pirie decorated a tree using knitted items donated by knitters from all over South Australia for distribution to needy children throughout the world but mainly in Africa. This display was intended to promote our project to send knitted items to needy children and encourage more people to knit. It was also an avenue to thank the many people and organisations who have already contributed.

Seven fully loaded trailer loads have already been delivered to Mission World Aid Inc in Adelaide in the past 12 months.
