Alex is Home
Hey guys!

What's up?!

I just thought it would be a good idea to let you know what i'm up to in this crazy country!

I've been back for 1 month already, time is flying, but I haven't been home much yet, about 5-6days :s.

As you know, I've had a few troubles while getting back here. Because of your bloody australian engineers, i was stucked in Sydney airport for 10 hrs until they told me to go to a hotel, paid by qantas. So i spent my night in that nice hotel, on the 9th floor if I can remember, with a nice view on Sydney. There were also other people who had missed their plane so they were in the same hotel as I was. So I met a few people in the hotel and spent the evening with them; it was quite god:). The day after, we finally took the plane, arrived in Singapore, took off again and finally, arrived in Frankfurt. About time! Good news, I've missed the plane I was supposed to take so I had to wait 1 hour to get a new ticket then go to a hotel in Frankfurt. The day after, we took off from Frankfurt to Brussel. In the plane, a mad black guy started yelling and jumped everywhere. People thought he was a terrorist!:p. The security took him off the plane. (we hadn't took off yet).

Then I finally arrived in Brussel, 24hrs later then when I was supposed to arrive. My mum had organise a coming back party but I wasn't there on time because all my planes where late. So she had to call everyone so that we could have the party on Friday night. Anyways, I arrived in Brussel and there were about 10 of my friends waiting for me. Straightaway, they gave me a Belgian beer, even before saying hello!:p

After that, all my friends came at home ad we partied from midday til...6 hehe. The cops came through the night because we were too loud...oups:p.
1 day after, I was off for the scouts camp. I was the cook there with another friend. None of the kids got poisonned so I guess the food wasn't too bad. It was so good to see all those kids again. The weather during the camp wasn't too good but we still managed to built cabins and play a few games. The kids were happy, that's what matters:). And when the kids were off to bed, the night was ours! And every night,we partied; but waking up the day after was hard, because the kids were awake round 7:s.

Then, I spent a couple of days at home. My parents where away so I had the house for myself. I went to a few bbq's and organised one at home. Once again, the cops came because we were too loud :s. Now they know the adress:D.

When those few days at home were finished, I went to a music festival with 12 of my friends. 5 days listening to music, "sleep" in the camping, having fun. It was so good, especialy because I'm still very good friends with all the ones I left behind for a year. It's as if I had never been away. So yea, the festival was heaps good but we didn't sleep much. concert were on from midday til 5 so nearly everytime we got back to our tents, the sun was rising ( sunrise as not as nice as in Australia, too bad :/).

When I got back home, I went to the North sea with my mum and mysister, who is pregnant She changed heaps! She's got a big belly and everything...uncle Alex:D.
Those few days were good because I recovered and spent a bit a time with my family. I was finally able to sleep more then 5 hours a night:p. I got back last night and went to another party and today, I went for a massive mountain bike ride with my brother. I hadn't seen him for a month so I think (hope:p) he was glad to do some sport with me.

And this weekend, I m gonna go to anoter festival with Dj's, on the other side of belgium (oh my god, it's so far:D). There will be dj's like Fedde le grand, david guetta and other well known, it should be good:).

And in Agust, I'm gonna work in a cheese factory for a month before starting uni.

So yea, as you can see, I ve been a bit busy lately, which is good otherwise I would miss Australia too much!

Soon I gotta book an appointment to pass a driving test with an instructor and finally get my license!
I'll try to put pictures on facebook or something.
Tell me what your are up to,it's so good to hear from Australia!! And say hello to Pirie. Kiss the stack for me:D.

I miss you all so much but it's kinda good too to be here:).

Keep an eye on the new Danish girl and tell me how you go with her;)

Hope to hear from you soon;).

Cya later,

Alex

Trip on a plane
On Saturday, we went for a trip on a plane at Port Pirie Airporrt. It was a 2h30 long trip and it was so good! We flew over the Flinders Rang, Port-Pirie, ... It's amazing to see all this. When we are up in the sky, we can really see that this country is dry. Brown fields, dusty roads, ...AMAZING!
