New Host Family!
Well last Friday I moved to my third and final host families house. They live about 800m from my school which is wonderful since my first two families both lived over 30km's. They are a joint family and between them they have 7 children. At the moment only 5 live at home, 6 if you count me. It is so nice having so many kids around especially since 3 of them are my age. I am really looking forward to spending my last 4 months with them.

Lapland/Norway
Well the last 10days I have just spent up at my host families summer cottage in Lapland. Since it was located so close to the Norweigan boarder they took me up to the Northern most point for a night. It was a really good trip, especially going up to Norway. We stayed in two different cottages, one having no running water, no power and no proper toilet and the second one had no running water and no proper toilet so as you could imagine I was more than happy to get home. One thing that really amazed me up in Lapland was that even though it was about 12 degrees during the day, the sun never went down. Liturally, you could go outside at midnight and it seemed like it was the middle of the day.

EuroTour
Well I am back and finally recovered from my 19 days around Europe. We got to travel around 9 different countries (Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Austria, Monaco and Netherlands) with 100 other exchange students from all around Finland.

We were really lucky and got to visit many amazing sights and go on heaps of awesome tours. One bit that I really loved was being on top of the Eiffel Tower at night. The view was amazing and the atmosphere with the other exchange students was something I will never forget.

This trip was such a great experience and I am so thankful that I was able to go. The places I saw and the memories made are something that I will never forget.

A Quick Update!!
I am now living with my second host family. They are a really awesome family and as long as they know where I am they are always happy to let me go out.

I have again got my haircut and it is once again shorter. I have made heaps of friends in Finland and they are all really nice when they have the confidence to talk English (all Finnish people always go on about how bad there English is even though they probably only make one mistake a day!!).

My finnish is coming along quite slowly. Next Saturday the year 12's are graduating so Sara (the American exchange student) who also attends the same school as me are doing a speech in Finnish. I am a bit scared about it but am willing to give it my best shot).

My EuroTour starts next Sunday aswell. I have to get up nice and early to travel across Finland to board a big ferry that will take us across to Sweden where it all starts. We will be travelling to nine countries in 19 days. The countries we visit are Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Monaco, Italy, Austria and Germany. It is going to be heaps of fun to catch up with all the other exchange students again. Will let you know how it all went upon my return to Finland.
