I can't believe this! I found vegemite in this little shop in Tampere! I'm so happy! I've been missing vegemite for so many years and I never knew we can buy it here in Finland. I just had a vegemite sandwich and I absolutely loved it. I think I'm gonna have another one..
I love vegemite!

Hi Port Pirie!
Greetings from Finland! How's Port Pirie? I don't think many of you have heard of me for quite a while. It's already five or six years since I was there in Pirie! Can't even remember how long ago it was (which is not a suprise because I never remember even my own age!). A lot has happened since then anyway.
I graduated from secondary high in 2003 and moved to Jyväskylä right after my graduation. I now study facility management in Jyväskylä Polytechnic. This is my third year and I'll (hopefully) graduate next year. My family still lives in Muhos, apart from my little brother, who lives in Oulu.
I was stuck in Finland for a couple of years after my exchange in Pirie. That was because I had a boyfriend. We broke up after four years and I travelled abroad. I worked in Switzerland for a few months and then did an exchange period of one year in the Netherlands. Now I have a new boyfriend and I guess I'm stuck in Finland again.
I'm involved with exchange students here in our school and it's keeping me busy. School itself is keeping me even busier! I'll strart my internship in April and I'll be doing things related to event management - so, that could be what I'll be doing later as my job.
One more thing: I still play the didgeridoo. I'm not really progressing but if I find someone to teach me, I'd be more than happy. I have had a few performances, which are usually pretty amusing because people tend to find the instrument quite funny. (I'm sure there's nothing funny about me blowing a huge pipe, my face bright red because of a lack of oxygen).
Alright, here's a brief overview of my life back here in Finland. Hope everyone is doing fine in Pirie!
